‘Repeater’ is a story set in a world where strange, one-eyed creatures speak in symbols, and can turn those symbols into realities.
A ruling class of Sayers forces the lowly repeaters to speak only in cubes, with which they build their endless monolithic towers. One day, a repeater, banished from its tower for creating a strange forbidden form, wanders the wastelands and discovers others of his kind. Joining in their wild ceremonial ritual, they discover the true potential of these forbidden creations to change their world.
